Doula Services Coordinator
- Renton & King County
Ana has worked in many realms of customer experience and with diverse populations. After completing their bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Mills College, they turned their interest to equitable healthcare, as they strongly believe racism and other forms of marginalization are a public health crisis. Ana is a full-spectrum doula in training, and currently pursuing their masters degree in Child & Maternal Health Systems at Bastyr University. They hope to help increase accessibility and quality of perinatal care regardless of one’s race, gender, income-status, ability, or body-size.
Ana strives to meet every encounter in their role with compassion and the understanding that especially in healthcare settings, depending on your identity, your access to resources and needs may differ. Having a specific interest in care for birthing people, they found Quilted Health to be the perfect intersection of their passions, and the work they hope to implement in healthcare settings. Ana works as our doula services coordinator and supports our wrap-around services team; so while in our care you may find yourself meeting with Ana to help facilitate the best possible care for your needs.
