Victoria began studying to become a Medical Assistant in the summer of 2013 - finding out she was pregnant shortly after. This news, while exciting, was also very scary. It helped give Victoria the confidence and extra push that she needed to help her finish her studies.
Victoria has always gravitated towards helping other individuals. Upon trying to find a job that was meaningful and fulfilling, she decided to become a Medical Assistant. After graduating, she worked in Family Medicine at the Community Medical Clinic. Seeing patients from many different backgrounds and being able to help so many people was what hooked Victoria on the career. It feels good to Victoria to know that she makes an impact on people. She’s a firm believer that everyone should be treated as someone, have access to great healthcare, and feel heard, no matter the backstory or current situation.
In being a Medical Assistant, Victoria likes to continue learning and finding ways to help the healthcare system. She enjoys finding ways to help things flow as easily as possible for not only her as the M.A. but for the provider and the clinic as a whole. Victoria is passionate about helping clients realize they do have a voice and it is okay to use it.
