About Miranda
I began my journey in healthcare driven by a deep interest in the medical field and a genuine passion for helping others. In high school, I volunteered with the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery and worked with both children and adults with special needs—experiences that shaped my desire to serve and support people during vulnerable moments. I became a Phlebotomist in 2016, an EMT in 2018, and transitioned into a Medical Assistant role in 2020. I’ve worked across several medical departments, including pediatrics, women’s health, family medicine, and geriatrics, giving me a broad perspective on care. Becoming a first-time mom after multiple miscarriages has only deepened my compassion and commitment to supporting others through pregnancy and postpartum, especially those navigating similar challenges.
My professional background includes certifications in phlebotomy, emergency medical services, and medical assisting. These roles have provided a solid foundation in both clinical expertise and patient-centered communication. I’m passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where patients feel truly heard and supported. I believe that compassionate care means treating the whole person—not just their symptoms—and being a steady, respectful presence throughout their healthcare journey.
With nearly a decade of experience in the medical field and five years as a Medical Assistant, I bring both knowledge and heart to my work every day. Patients and colleagues often describe me as warm, approachable, and deeply empathetic—a good listener who also brings lightness and humor to the clinical setting. Whether supporting a young family or caring for an elderly patient, I aim to provide care that feels personal, trustworthy, and rooted in genuine connection.
