This policy applies to anyone visiting our locations, including employees, visitors, clients, guests, and contractors.

Support persons

All clients are allowed to bring one healthy support person with them to the Quilted Health Clinic.

Anyone 12 years and older who attends an appointment with a client must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result from a test taken within 48 hours of the appointment. A photograph of the vaccination card or test result can be emailed to Quilted Health at care@quiltedhealth.com, or text to (253)243-2537. Alternatively, you may present proof upon arrival to the clinic. For visitors who are unable to meet these requirements, we have an iPad available that can be used during your appointment so that someone can join you virtually.

Children (vaccinated or unvaccinated) are allowed to accompany you, if you must bring them with you to attend your appointment.

Screening requirements

All clients and accompanying support persons will be asked to complete a Covid-19 screening questionnaire prior to their arrival to the clinic. This questionnaire will be sent via email or text, depending on each client's communication preference. If the questionnaire is not completed prior to arriving to the clinic, it will be required upon arrival.

Any visitor with these symptoms will not be allowed to enter the clinic.

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Headache
  • Runny nose
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting or diarrhea

All clients and accompanying support persons will have their temperature taken upon arrival to the Quilted Health Clinic. Those with a temperature of 100℉ or higher will not be allowed to enter the clinic.

All clients, support persons, and children over the age of 2 will be required to wear a mask at all times inside the Quilted Health clinic. It is not recommended that children under the age of 2 wear masks. Please bring your own mask if you have one. If not, we will provide one for you. You will not be allowed entry without a mask.

Frequently asked questions

Is the policy only allowing one person to accompany me to a clinic visit a new policy?

No, it is not new, we have been limiting the number of people in the clinic since the start of Covid-19.

The person I'd like to bring with me to the clinic cannot get vaccinated. Can they provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken within 48 hours of my appointment?

Yes, please send proof of the negative test by emailing or texting us or bring it to the clinic appointment.

If my child is not eligible to be vaccinated and I need to bring them to my clinic appointment with me, can I?

If I am the patient, am I required to be vaccinated to receive care at Quilted Health?

No, we are here to care for everyone. But requiring others to be vaccinated helps to keep you and our team safe.

Does Quilted Health staff need to be vaccinated?

All of our team members who work with patients must be vaccinated.

Are other pregnancy care providers requiring support persons to be vaccinated?

There are a range of policies in place, some clinics are not allowing anyone other than the patients to attend the visit. We are taking the steps we feel will help keep everyone safe and healthy, while also allowing patients to bring someone with them to have the support they need.
